Where's My Answer?

We've all been there, and if you haven't, you will be. Where you had a big thing that you needed a big answer from God. And, the sooner the better.

It can seem like all around you prayers are being answered, so you look up and ask the Lord, where's my answer?

While waiting for the answer to come to fruition, the Enemy tempts us to get over into discouragement. It's one of his tactics so that we stop ourselves from receiving from God.

God did in fact hear you when you prayed, and the time you spent praising Him for the answer did not bump the ceiling and boomerang back to you.

I need to hear this truth as much as you do, my friend. If it isn't good yet, then God isn't done. If you don't physically see your answer it doesn't mean He isn't working.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways,”

declares the Lord.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts."

- Isaiah 55:8-9

We have to remember that the God we serve knows the beginning from the end and everything in between. He knows the best timing for everything and He wants His kids to have good things.

Praise Him when it's hard. Your praises glorify the Lord and shoot fiery darts at the Enemy.

Don't think that you're being annoying when you continually ask the Lord and continue to thank Him for your answer. God loves our persistence! As long as we are not complaining or worrying, then your persistence is positive.

“Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door." - Matthew 7:7-8
